It features music based on the works of several black composers (including Miles Davis), and the new George Faison Universal Dance Experience. Faison, with the Alvin Ailey company, choreographs and stars in the production. Short segments: Imanu Amiri Haraka (LeRoi Jones) reads his poetry about the drug scene; and Mae Jackson reads her poem about "Soledad Brother" George Jackson, who was killed at San Quentin.
