From the "Pink building" on Akadimias Street designed by architect Stamatis Kleanthis, to the Cultural Center building which formerly housed the Elpis hospital, Lakis Papastathis tells the stories of the city - of its important people, its politicians, artists, and ordinary citizens, from the middle of the 19th century to the 1970s. Mythology, history, and personal memories weave together to create a tour that continues on from Asklipiou Street, past the corner of Ippokratous and Akadimias Streets, where trams once concluded their journey, descending towards the Akropol of revues, and then to the juncture of Panepistimiou and Ippokratous Streets, where protests for Cyprus took place in the 1950s, as well as earlier, during the funerals of Charilaos Trikoupis in 1896, and King Alexander in 1920. The tour passes through the Arsakeio and ends at Stoa Orfeos and the basement of the Art Theater Karolos Koun. Written by
