Consisting of eleven-year-old prodigy Noah Green with his larger-than-life voice, and his Kokoom (grandmother), the Cree matriarch Carol Powder. Singing by eight months old and having his own drum months later, Noah began performing live at the age of two. Steeped in ceremonial Cree music, customs and culture, Carol has dedicated her time and energy to teach her children and now her grandchildren. This compelling documentary combines a unique blend of awareness about women's rights, the environment, Indigenous wellness, and the healing power of Cree music rooted in Indigenous knowledge. The story between the young boy and his KoKoom explores the universal themes of the importance of family bond and the transmission of culture and moral values from a generation to the next.
