She makes an impression when she stops in front of the emergency room in an old tour bus with severe chest pains. While Tamar is impressed by the self-confident, single woman, the doctors quickly find out that Mila is suffering from a pulmonary embolism and needs surgery. Mila is shocked. What will happen to her bar "Elfriede" after a months-long healing phase? Since separating from her husband Leon Ortner, she has been running it alone. But suddenly Leon is in the JTK and offers his help - with a baby in his arms. Mila is hit by the past like a blow. She begins to question her life decision: Was it a mistake to leave Leon because she didn't want to have children? Assistant doctor Sofia Galura senses her chance for her first skin incision when she and Dr. Ben Ahlbeck take in the patient Oskar Sonnenfeld with typical appendix symptoms. Oskar, however, lives with Asperger's syndrome and refuses the necessary operation because he is afraid of the complications. He also consults his robot dog, Bellmann, on all decisions, whom he treats like a real living being. Sofia sees only one chance to realize her dream of making the first skin incision: she has to win Oskar's trust through the robot Mr. Bellmann. Dr. Elly Winter is back at the JTK. And she has brought research funding with her. In return, Wolfgang Berger promises her access to Matteo's beloved research laboratory. The conflict with Matteo is inevitable. He should share his laboratory?. When he realizes that he can't compete with Elly, he moves into Wolfgang's office. But the head of the clinic is also a seasoned prodigy.
