Kinshiro informs ...See moreIn his youth, Jirokichi, the righteous thief who aids the weak and defeats the strong ( Kazama Morio), faces a young samurai who would later become renowned as Edo's chief magistrate, Toyama Kinshiro (Matsumura Yuki). Kinshiro informs Jirokichi that a notorious thief named Aoi Kosuke (Hakiwara Nagarei), who caused havoc in Osaka, has surfaced in Edo. Seeking revenge for the execution of his father, who was a thief, Aoi Kosuke has allied with ronin who hold a grudge against the shogunate, planning to assassinate the 11th shogun, Ienari Tokugawa. Kinshiro requests Jirokichi's assistance in preventing the assassination. Together with the Osaka magistrate, Heihachiro Oshio (Murata Takehiro), and the ukiyo-e artist, Hiroshige Ando (Morikawa Shota), Jirokichi devises a plan to pursue Aoi Kosuke in Edo. See less
