It represents the adventures of a typical "Weary Willie," who, bent on satisfying his hunger, strays into a back yard, and, noticing a pie which the lady of the house has set out to cool, appropriates and makes off with it to devour at leisure. The family bulldog has different views of the subject, however, and pursues Mr. Tramp, finally catching on to the rear of his trousers and hanging there, as bulldogs will.
