Her excitement turns to unease when the male professor assigns her the lead role in a major play, sparking jealousy among her fellow female students. During rehearsals, the male professor makes an inappropriate request for Nina to remove her shirt as part of a scene. Nina refuses, standing firm on her personal boundaries. In response, the male professor swiftly replaces her with another student and both the male and female professors dismiss her entirely. They refuse to provide any feedback or acknowledge her presence, leaving Nina feeling isolated and betrayed. Determined to confront the injustice, Nina stands up to the professors but finds her efforts in vain. Her frustration is compounded when she attempts to reach out to her father for support, only to have her calls ignored. In the final scene, Nina is seen absent from the stage, replaced by another girl.
