They decide to head downtown to see some sights and have lunch before they play their show, but they're having trouble deciding what they want to eat. Christina requests a ride through an app on her phone. When the taxi shows up, they are very surprised to find that it has no one behind the wheel. A woman named Desiree approaches and explains that this car is part of San Francisco's fleet of driverless vehicles. Desiree is a Robotics Engineer. It's her job to test, program, and improve the driverless taxis. Desiree joins Christina, Andrés, and BoomBox for their ride downtown, and along the way, teaches them about the value of social problem-solving, which comes in handy in all sorts of situations, whether you're programming driverless vehicles or just trying to decide where to eat lunch.
