The first scene is a group of young adults at a house party, they seen eating, smoking, drinking and having congenial conversations, topics unknown. The second scene is of a young man and young woman individually getting ready to go out. The two scenes shift when someone at the party turns on the television, what being shown at the time being a public service commercial on the benefits of using car seat belts, which spurs the conversations to driving safety, most specifically not drinking and driving, and their own histories with using seat belts. The other scene has the young man having picked up the young woman, they seen not wearing their seat belts. The two scenes finally merge when the telephone rings at the party, the man answering the phone announcing to the crowd, "there's been an accident." Written by Huggo See less
