They have lived in isolation from society for much of their lives. ...See moreThis off-beat documentary follows two brothers, Matt and Aaron Sedeen who were born at home and were never issued hospital birth certificates or Social Security Numbers. They have lived in isolation from society for much of their lives. Before we started filming this documentary in 2008, the brothers were essentially foreigners in their own land. For most of their lives, their only window to the outside world was through Hollywood films. They have a unique and sometimes peculiar perspective of the world we live in. Now in their late twenties, they have dreams of making movies and dating women. Matt and Aaron have decided to get "documented" and enter the real world. The tone of the film is inspired as much by the vérité documentaries of the Maysles Brothers as by the organically-paced storytelling of This American Life.
