While still playing professionally, DeMarco came out as gay, which resulted in him becoming one of first Black gay men to grace the cover of OUT Magazine - followed up with calls for modeling and acting. While a rising star, DeMarco endured a cataclysmic tragedy. From the ashes, he discovered his new journey into self-love and acceptance Now, DeMarco is on a crusade to save lives and be an example of resilience.
