While setting the table for lunch, his Grandmother Elide cooks the tomato sauce and sings an ancient folk song from Abruzzo. The flowers and trees in the courtyard embrace the house and warm the atmosphere with their colours. When lunch is ready, Lisa's father counts to ten to make her go to the table, but in those moments the little girl decides to hide behind the high hedges in the garden to prank him. Once the countdown is over, Lisa remains hidden. After a few minutes, however, no one comes looking for her. When Lisa comes out into the open, the garden is no longer the same: her grandmother's singing has stopped and a strange silence seems to have stopped time. The sauce is charred in grandma's pot; the table is set but the plates are broken in half. Nobody is waiting for Lisa, everything has disappeared like a successful hide and seek. In ten seconds every shred of everyday life disappeared forever. A metaphor on the emotional consequences of the earthquake and the fear of losing everything in a few moments.
