But also: the World Championships of the unpaved roads. Unofficially then. Whoever wins Unbound is quite a boss. And then Laurens. The man who symbolizes the rediscovered magical adventure called gravel. When you want to win, but you can't. And then you no longer know why you actually wanted to win. At least, that was the case before Laurens went through life as a professional adventurer. After an enormous career as a cycling professional, the servant decided to continue giving his all and turned out to be a winner in gravel. But does he really want to win? And what does winning mean to him? On June 3rd, 2023, it's all or nothing. But why the constant 'can' and 'will'? What drives him? Where does his determination and discipline come from? This is a story about chasing dreams and analyzing that sacred fire within. About boyhood dreams, getting the best out of yourself, day in and day out. This is the story of Laurens ten Dam.
