Eva participated in an unannounced sit-in against a bypass, which shortly afterwards prompted the slippery local politician Ferdinand Erler to visit Beissl. And then Jerry and Sophia report the discovery of a body: Marlene Thaler, Berchtesgaden's advertising icon and the face of the Alpenkönig cheese dairy, has been murdered. At first glance, Marlene was popular with everyone, and neither her father and manager Ernst Thaler nor anyone else can explain her death. But soon the boss of the Alpenkönig cheese dairy, Heidi Schäfer, Marlene's friend Sepp, and even her father, come under suspicion. Each of them has a motive for the murder. After Marlene had gone into business for herself, Max finds a new lead after Marlene's fitness trainer Steffi tips off about a mysterious motorcyclist. When Sophia discovers that the model even had her own apartment, where a fight apparently took place, new questions arise. Jerry's girlfriend, Johanna, gives the investigators the idea of simply luring the perpetrator with something they don't have. Meanwhile, Beissl is troubled by his daughter's accusation that he's a complete square. His wife finds a can in the attic that proves the opposite. With resounding success.
