Back in L.A., Rhonda joins Ridge for the evening as he babysits Eric Junior and Bridget. He apologizes to her for constantly talking about Brooke and the kids in her presence. Rhonda is understanding, but also lures a confession out of Ridge: he is not ready to loose Brooke to another man. Rhonda encourages Ridge to stop the wedding if these are his true feelings. The birthday party on Melrose Avenue is still going strong. It is the perfect evening for Jessica until she overhears Dylan - who is pested by his buddies for his affection for the 17 year old ingénue - claiming that he is looking after her to score points with his boss. A shell-shocked Jessica who has resisted all urging by Ivana's friends to drink alcohol so far now decides to follow up on the grown-up-routines and gets herself some Vodka shots.
