Only towards the end of the sequence do the images come to life, a sound appears somewhere between indistinct and mysterious in which under metallic timbres we can hear the basso continuo of a male voice. With a shot determined by the enormously greater brightness compared to the previous sequence, by the slightly accelerated shooting rhythm (16 fts instead of 24) and by the irruption of a choir of mixed voices strongly cadenced, the two friends Carlo and Peter appear, who will also return towards the end of the film.
