Hosted by YouTube creator Airrack (Eric Decker), the event was historic as the first Streamy Awards to be livestreamed exclusively on an individual creator's YouTube channel rather than the official awards channel. The ceremony honored excellence in online video across 45 categories, including the debut of new gaming-focused awards for VTubers and streamers. Major highlights of the night included MrBeast winning Creator of the Year for the third consecutive year and Mark Rober becoming the most-awarded creator of the evening with four wins. The show also featured the Creator Honor awards-a special segment where past winners recognize impactful peers-notably featuring The Game Theorists (MatPat) presenting an honor to Kane Pixels for his work on the viral Backrooms series.
