Our first episode features United States Army Veteran SSG Jason Wenk who was stationed in Iraq. While there, his Humvee is blown up. He is pulled from the wreckage and survives. SSG Wenk gives us a first hand account of his service to our country and what it means to be patriotic. During our interview we discover the SSG Wenk was never officially awarded the Purple Heart.
