After an experimental gene therapy turns them into monsters, three twenty-somethings, played by Morgan Taylor Campbell ("Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist"), Rhianna Jagpal ("Motherland: Fort Salem"), and Inaki Godoy ("Who Killed Sara") band together to hunt down the scientist responsible and force him to make them human again, teaming up along the way with Dr. Sydney Burke - played by Italia Ricci ("Designated Survivor," "Supergirl"). For fans of quirky super squads, think "The Umbrella Academy" meets "The Boys". The Imperfects is currently in the top 3 TV shows on Netflix in the USA and Canada. On the show, Wesley plays Owen Schultz, a geeky and altruistic young man who was also a victim of the experiment - but one whose powers take him down a unique and potentially destructive path. This engrossing genre-bending series ranges from wacky Scooby-Doo-esque hi-jinks to dark bloody horror, and is executive produced by Shelley Eriksen and Dennis Heaton ("The Order"), as well as the creative minds behind "Fargo" and "Van Helsing". Other series stars include Rhys Nicholson, Kyra Zagorsky, Celina Martin, Jedidiah Goodacre, and more. In addition to acting, Wesley is an international singer/songwriter under the stage name Wes Mack. His releases have yielded five Billboard top 10 hits, 20 CCMA and BCCMA nominations, over 15 million streams, and an international tour with Shania Twain. In October of 2022, he is set to release a brand new single titled "Lookin For You." The song follows on the heels of his SiriusXM top two singles "Don't Change" and "Ain't Got You", which have amassed over 1.3 million streams in the last year, as well as the hit song "Fighting" which he wrote for his friend and fellow country artist Tyler Joe Miller, which reached the top 10 on the Billboard charts in 2021. His upcoming single "Lookin For You" was co-written by Juno Award-winning member of The Washboard Union, Chris "Dunner" Duncombe, and a member of the 90s smash sensation Wave, Dave Thomson. Dan Swinimer, who is best known for his work with CCMA Award-winning artists Jojo Mason and Madeline Merlo, produced the upbeat love song. Most recently, on the small screen in 2021, Wesley acted opposite to Kate Beckinsale in the Paramount+ dark comedy "Guilty Party". While in theaters, he recently faced off with Liam Neeson in the action film "Cold Pursuit". Wesley pours his passion for performing in every role. He has a long list of television credits that include: "DC'S Legends of Tomorrow", "iZombie", "Motive" "The 100", "Supernatural", "Continuum", "Smallville", "Heartland" and "The Vampire Diaries". He has also taken on roles in feature films, including "The Power Rangers Movie", "Cold Pursuit", "Magic Beyond Words: The JK Rowling Story", "A Dog Named Christmas", "Girl House", and "The Phantoms". On the other side of the camera, Wesley is an established music video director and has been nominated multiple times for director and video of the year at the CCMA, BCCMA, and Leo Awards. Wesley is a Calgary native, who currently resides in Vancouver, where he continues to expand his ever-growing resume of impressive credits.
