Franziska Grünwald, the owner of the Magellan sailing school, reports Lea Klein missing. When Julia and Jakob find one of Lea's sneakers in the lake and shortly afterwards her dinghy, their suspicions seem to be confirmed. Lea must have capsized during the night. But Julia has doubts, because the night was windless and Lea is an experienced sailor. Lea's single father, Robert Klein, is shocked.
