A gift that at times is a curse for it causes those endowed with it to pursue the craft no matter what the costs. Whether it be life, love, or liberty, these artists are bound by their commitment to the art. They display their emotional-life before us so that we may all learn from their self-sacrifice. One would believe that such selflessness would be rewarded by all with praise, adulation, and monies. Yet that is not always the case in these troubling times. But even when there is little or no monetary compensation, these soothsayers continue to tell the tales that need to be told so that we as a society never forget how to dream. So let us open are hearts and minds to their portrayals, and take in their fantastical tellings of stories near and far.
