Van In discovers that it has only been a week since Corneels kidnapped and tortured his boss Francis Steegmans. It is clear that he could not have done this without a partner. At the Steegmans house Van In notices that son Sean has a quarrel with his father and his young girlfriend. The team is sure that the young man knows more about the case, but suddenly it takes a different direction when new traces lead to animal rights activist Marijke Lierman.
