His valet gives him his attention and the old man tells him the story of his life in the form of "flash back". He first tells him how he was raised. How the little boy discovered a derivative form of friendship through another child and a doll. How the young man was abandoned by his mother and also how the lady in the park changed his perception of life. So he will continue his story, clarifying to her how he made his fortune and why all his conquests disappeared. Finally, he will tell her how his mother died and he will reveal to her who were the first - to die. See less
