From it he wants to make a beautiful present for his daughters. When he puts it in the fire, it comes to life and promises to fulfill the glassblower's every wish if he takes it out of the kiln. In the evening, the glassblower thinks about what happened and wishes to become a gentleman. The next morning he wakes up to find himself and his family dressed in beautiful clothes and surrounded by beautiful things.
