The old woman boxes his ears, but Polidor is given a chance to get even when he is given a manuscript to type, and afterwards to take to the lady's house. Seeing the girl at the window, he wafts kisses at her, and the old dame throws her bonnet at him, and afterwards entering the room where Polidor is by this time renewing his acquaintance with the young lady, causes him to take his leave hurriedly. Passing the door, he notices an advertisement for a dancing master for the girl, and applies for a position, disguised with the aid of a mustache and beard. Though all goes well for a time, the mustache and beard fall off, and are spotted by the old dame, who assaults Polidor, and finally throws him through the open window. Written by
