Her entry into the battlefield meant that the country was in mortal danger. So it was in the terrible years of the war against fascism, when about 800 000 women fought on the fronts. Over 150 000 were awarded with military orders and medals, dozens were awarded with the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. "The Beautiful Regiment" film series is a story about the amazing fates of women who fought on the fronts of the Second World War.
