They have just watched the latest school play starring Mary, one of the most popular girls at school. However, they have long come to the conclusion that Mary, as much as she enjoys acting in always studying about it, can't act. They and their classmates, who have come to the same conclusion about Mary's acting, have to decide what they will say to Mary directly about her latest performance, which may be different than what they have said behind her back, their true feelings.
