To refute Maggie's allegations, Sheila explains that she is staying with James on her doctor's orders to recuperate from her injuries. Seeing her in James' bed, it suddenly dawns on Maggie that Sheila is trying to steal her boyfriend. Maggie threatens Sheila and orders her to vacate James' apartment within the next 48 hours. Ridge consults James in regards to Brooke's fending position to move on with her life while Bridget is still settling with the news that Eric is her father. James urges Ridge not to pressure Brooke who he thinks needs a friend and not a lover to live through this difficult period. Brooke is embarrassed that Grant walked into her argument with Ridge. Grant gives Brooke spiritual advice and she thanks him for his encouraging words. Sheila is about to ask the police for protection from Maggie and offers James to move out again.
