Back in L.A., Maggie fills James in how Stephanie lost her temper and strangled Sheila earlier. They also worry that Brooke might overreact in regards to Brooke. Stephanie calls Eric from her Carphone to let him know that Brooke contacted her and that she is now going to pick up the children. Making preparations to propose to Brooke again, Ridge leaves Big Bear early. Therefore, Brooke is alone with Rick and Bridget when Stephanie arrives at the cabin. Brooke is heartbroken to let her children go again, but does not cause a scene. Minutes later, Brooke is arrested by Lt.
