Living separated lives after the death of their only child, they are given a chance to reconcile their marriage after Ming finds a baby doll in the trash. Chen, hesitant to accept this change and concerned for his wife's mental state decides to throw the doll away for Ming's own good. His good intentions backfire, as this causes Ming to storm out of Chen's life. Chen decides to find Ming, doll in hand, and begs her to come home. Chen realizes that his wife's happiness is crucial to making this marriage work and accepts the doll as a part of the family. See less
