They struggle to find a project but after searching online they decide to use their cat to challenge the "Buttered Toast Paradox." With limited bread available they share the toast with their grandmother only to destroy the one piece they have. Choosing to steal the slice of toast away from the sleeping grandmother proves a challenge but they finally get it and begin to track down the cat. Unfortunately, the cat doesn't want any part of the experiment and puts up a fight. The results of the experiment are in the air as the scratched up boys get back to the drawing board.
