Ikki, Metabee, Ginkai and Arc-Dash are on the river bank. Ikki and Metabee can't help but want to help Blakbeetle. Ginkai tells them that she made her choice, there's nothing they can do. Then Nae comes and says that Dr. Maizu has an idea to stop the final test. Everyone goes to Zuru's house. Dr. Maizu builds a back door through the Extreme Tech program. Then, once he gets in, he deletes all the data on Gryphon. However, even though Dr. Maizu had deleted all the data, Gryphon was already complete. Ikki and Metabee think it's up to them to save Blakbeetle, but Nae comes up with an idea. Nae goes to have a talk with Eddie in Kam's house. She asks him to cancel Gryphon's final test tomorrow, but he can't due to only being a butler, despite agreeing that Kam needs Blakbeetle's friendship. Nae suspects something, and she asks Eddie if he knows why Kam is so heartless. He explains that Mr. Kamazaki built this house when Kam was born. Mr. Kamazaki works in America, and although he returns to Japan several times, he is so busy that Kam has not seen him since he was very young. Kam and his mother were very close, however, she wasn't very well and passed away when Kam was 4 years old, and his father was not present when that happened. Kam became colder after this. Nae feels sorry for Kam, and she tries to convince Eddie to help Kam, as he is the only adult in Kam's life able to guide him. However, Eddie is afraid of losing his job and refuses, saying that he said too much and asking Nae to leave. Nae returns to her shop, where Ikki and the others are waiting for good news, but hear that Eddie will not help. Zuru then decides that the only solution is to destroy Blakbeetle's Medal, but Ikki and Ginkai disagree. Ginkai tells them that it was Blakbeetle's choice, and that they have no right to butt in. Soon, only Ikki and Metabee are left to save Blakbeetle. The next day, Kam and Blakbeetle are heading for Extreme Tech, and Eddie stays behind in Kam's home, just to have Ginkai show up, wanting to help Blakbeetle, saying that Ikki and Metabee are rubbing off on him. Meanwhile, Ikki, Metabee and Miss Nae are chasing after Kam in Nae's van. Eddie decides to give a ride to Ginkai. Ginkai does not know why Eddie said no to Miss Nae, but yes to him. Eddie says that watching the kids play brings back something he has not felt in a long time, and Ginkai believes he knows what he means, as he felt the same way before. When Eddie decides to take a shortcut in a rough path, Ginkai tells him to be careful or they will break down, and Eddie says that is not a bad idea. Ikki and Miss Nae finally catch up with Kam, just to have a police car catch up with them for speeding. Miss Nae tells Ikki and Metabee to go on while Nae talks with the police. Even in Action Mode, Metabee is unable to catch up, but Ikki gets a ride from some guy, and Metabee jumps in. On the side of the road, the Extreme Tech driver spots Eddie, looking at his car, as if it was broken. Kam wonders why Eddie is here and asks the driver to stop. While they are distracted with Eddie, Ginkai sneaks to the back of the truck to get Blakbeetle out. However, Ikki and Metabee arrive and ruin the whole thing by being loud. Kam orders Blakbeetle to attack Metabee, and she says that no matter how much she doesn't want to, Kam is her master and she must follow his orders. In the middle of the Robattle, Roks comes out of nowhere. Zuru orders Roks to destroy Blakbeetle, but Arc-Dash was able to stop Roks before he could do it. Blakbeetle starts firing at Arc-Dash and Roks (though it only hits Arc-Dash). Metabee jumps in the way, and tells them that this is between Blakbeetle and himself, and Ginkai convinces Zuru to let them Robattle. Despite the circumstances, both Metabee and Blakbeetle enjoy their Robattle. In the end, Blakbeetle has her cannon up against the back of Metabee's head. She thanks him for the last Robattle, which made her feel the true meaning of Robattle. But she will forget everything once she becomes Gryphon. Metabee tries one last attempt to convince her not to, and Kam gives the word for Blakbeetle to fire. Blakbeetle says "Thank you, my friend", before firing, defeating Metabee. Ikki picks up Metabee's medal, and tries to get through to Kam by saying that Blakbeetle doesn't want to become Gryphon, and just wants to be Kam's partner and friend. Kam asks if it is true, and Blakbeetle answers yes. Kam says, "very well then... time to become Gryphon." Then they get into the truck, and head for Extreme Tech. Ikki and Metabee are not willing to give up, and both Ginkai and Zuru say that they will help them get Blakbeetle back. So they all head for Extreme Tech. See less
