And in this school, there's no recess from mayhem. The seasonal arc follows an all-out war over the coveted position of school principal. The show opens in the teacher's lounge, where the school's principal, Yohanan Lapid (played by Israel Aharoni, Israel's foremost celebrity chef and the star of the Israeli Master Chef), announces, on the first day of the school year, that this will be his last year on the job: the time has come for him to retire.
