Then come scenes showing how the sap is congealed in the smoke from nuts of palm trees, until it becomes what the natives term a "biscuit." Next we are shown views of the world's largest rubber market, Manaos, Brazil, twenty-three hundred miles from the mouth of the Amazon. Here the biscuit is searched thoroughly for impurities.
