Peter leaves some money to Kelly, but his movable property remains to be managed by Mason. Mason with Cruz conducts the inventory of Peter's flat. Feeling in his ease there, he decides to stay there, not having clean accommodation anymore. By turning a drawer, Cruz discovers a key. Jackie and Ted jog to the bar at the beach. Ted finds Laken there. Once again, Laken repeats that she is waiting for the departure of Sophia far from Santa Barbara. Warren surprises Maggie: he bought back the local newspaper, Santa Barbara Sentinel. Maggie, who proves to be married, then goes to Peter's lawyer and asks him to represent her in a mysterious affair. The lawyer refuses, judging the trial lost beforehand.
