From its terrace one gets a magnificent view down the Valley of the Bow River. The natural bathtub at the Hot Springs, the Government pool, free for all; Sun Dance Canyon, scene of Ralph Connor's story of similar name, are shown, together with beautiful cloud scenes; bison, buffalo, mountain goats and yaks. H.R.H. the Princess Patricia of Connaught and her father, the Duke of Connaught, third son of Queen Victoria, are seen, with the survivors of "Princess Patricia's Own Regiment," which was nearly annihilated in Flanders. One of the veterans is wearing a watch charm made from the bullet which caused him to be invalided home. A corporal tells his adventure; three times he was buried in craters created by shell explosions: was invalided home, blind, deaf and dumb, and then run over by an auto and his sight, hearing and speech instantly restored.
