However this doesn't mean anything to the girl until he forces her to kiss him. Maloney interferes and the men fight. The ranch owner comes out and orders them all to get their pay. The girl tries to explain and finally she convinces her father but when he walks into the room where the men are, the "straw boss" and two of his friends accuse Maloney of stealing money from the owner's desk. The owner tells Leo they are going to arrest him, but he, saying, "Come and get me," locks the door on them. General acceptance of this invitation gives Maloney an opportunity to ride and fight his way through the reel. Written by
