He lands in Mexico, and by severely "cleaning" the city bully, gains the admiration of the Insurrectos, who appoint him their leader. As he recruits his mismated troops, the Senorita Frigolla seeks his protection from her irate toreador lover. Don Chila. Seizing the toreador, Shultz orders his instant execution, but Donna Frigolla begs his life, and he is released on condition he joins Shultz's army. Shultz leads his Insurrectos against the Federals and with cannonballs bouncing off from his manly chest, leads a victorious charge and after his whole company are slaughtered, he single-handed takes the Federal army prisoner. The treacherous Don Chila escapes in the abandoned drum of the Federals by rolling it with himself inside down the hill. He is recaptured, and with the Federal army confined in the city jail. Peace having come, the citizens decide on celebrating by a bullfight, but alas, the toreador, Don Chila, is in jail. Shultz again becomes the savior of the city and fights the bull to such advantage as to win the heart and hand of Donna Frigolla. Written by
