Phil tries to catch him at the dock, and failing, starts after the steamship in a row boat. In the meantime, Monte is having his troubles---trying to put a stamp on a letter, encountering the crackers left in bed by his playful wife, trying to get a paper cup filled with water for his wife and finally by getting into the wrong cabin. His neighbor, who also has gone to get his wife same water, gets into Monte's cabin by mistake. But Monte gets the worst of the argument with the neighbor's wife and is being chased by her husband when Phil reaches the boat. He has been rowing like mad and finally has caught the steamship. He informs Monte that he has to go back to the office because the boss won't let them trade vacation periods. Then follows a mile-a-minute row boat trip back to shore. Written by
