The parade shows first a mounted squad of Chicago's "finest," followed by cavalry, infantry and marine, and escort of honor and finally the carriage showing the famous admiral. A full face view is obtained as the carriage turns the corner, and Dewey is seen in the act of bowing his acknowledgment to the vociferous applause which greets him from both sides of the street. The best picture of the "Fighting Admiral" ever obtained. Written by Selig Polyscope catalogue See less
