He was so handy that the directors declared him in on the watered stock. When he adjusted himself to Prosperity, his daughter Katie, who used to carry his dinner, became known in high school circles as Katherine. When Husky got his first wagon load of kale, daughter was registered at a vine-clad seminary overlooking the Hudson. There she became known as Kath-R-Y-N. She decided the mill town would never do, so she went to Europe with a chaperon who had seen better days. There she met the Roqueforts and Camemberts and picked out as manly a chap as ever borrowed money from a toe-dancer. Now about once a month the Markee shows up to make a sweet touch and reminds her that she must forget her vulgar relations in America. Moral: Europeans make the money and they have a right to pull it down. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
