I get we need a back story however this episode ended with just the back story. No info on what is about to happen. Hope episode 2 is more interesting!

That feels like it should be the title. Now, the show is well produced. Good theme music, good pace. But the reporting isn’t reporting! Everything is badly skewed from a perspective that fundamentally believes police are oppressive. And then because of that belief, crime and anarchy in the name of protest is justified. I’m totally down to hear this story, but the obvious bias against police and in support of anyone acting out, breaking laws and causing mayhem makes it hard to stomach. I thought a Wondery production would be more objective, honestly.
