World Hope International (WHI) has launched new initiatives under the project titled “Hope and Better Care for Survivors of Human Trafficking and Online Scamming,” aimed at creating a comprehensive continuum of care for survivors of transnational human trafficking in Cambodia and the Philippines.

Khmer Times is also unique among the English-language print media in Cambodia because of the way we gather the news and report on it. We have a team of very experienced local journalists gathering the news on a daily basis and writing about it. Nobody knows a country better than the people from that country. Our small team of talented foreign journalists work as both editors, writers and photographers and help put a foreign perspective on stories when needed. Using local reporters to gather and write news is a new concept for English-language newspapers in Cambodia, but not around the region, where all the papers use the same concept.
