She was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, March 5. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, the cause of death was ruled a suicide from a gunshot wound to the head. Her family reportedly had not heard from her and went to check on her, per TMZ, which was first to report the news. In a statement shared with PEOPLE, a rep for David said: "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."
