Today I'm sharing Day #4 of the 13 Days of Craftoween 2025 Advent Calendar. This post contains spoilers so if you don't want the surprise spoiled, close post now.

 

 Now for those that would like a little inspiration, here goes. The Day #4 Envelope includes a Ghost, banner, cat and even a slice of pizza!

 

Today's project is a fun Matchbook treat holder. 

 

Matchbook Measurements: 

Black Matchbook: 2 3/8" x 3 7/8" (8 1/2" H x 2 3/8" W)

Ink Blended Panels: 2 3/16" x 3 1/8"

 

Steps to Create:

• Create Black Matchbook but cutting Black card stock measuring: 8 1/2" H x 2 3/8" W. Score at 1", 4 3/4" 5 1/4". Burnish folds and add staple to the 1" score at bottom in the middle.
• Cut Purple Mist, Persimmon and Peridot Panel measuring: 2 3/16" x 3 1/8". Add ink blending with Purple Mist, Tangerine, Jelly Bean Green, Fresh Asparagus and Black ink. Stamp sentiment using 13 Days of Craftoween stamp set with Black ink. Add Black splatters using Raven Splatter Effects.
• Die Cut Ghost, Banner and Pumpkin from 13 Days of Craftoween using White, Black, Lunar Gray, Purple Mist, Peridot and Persimmon card stock. Add ink highlights. 
• Die Cut Bats using Halloween Wreath Add-On (S5-601) with Black card stock. 
• Assemble Matchbooks.
• Fill Treat Holders (Reese's Peanut Butter Cups).

Today I'm sharing Day #3 of the 13 Days of Craftoween 2025 Advent Calendar. This post contains spoilers so if you don't want the surprise spoiled, close post now.

 

 

 Now for those that would like a little inspiration, here goes. The Day #3 Envelope includes an oversized Poison Bottle die - complete with a label, skull & crossbones. It's super easy to assemble. 

 

I created another fun treat bag but this time I dressed it up a bit and made a front & back panel with a handle using the Perfect Touch Rectangles (S5-647) and Essential Stylish Ovals (S5-562) to sandwich the plain black paper sack.

 

Treat Bag Measurements:

Black Front & Back Panel: 3 3/4" x 5", Oval Handle Opening: 2" x 3/4"

Black Paper Sack (sandwiched between front & back panel): 3 1/2" x 2" x 3 1/2"

Front Panel: Embossed Panel: 3 5/8" x 3 1/2", Black Brushed Strip: 3 5/8" x 1/8"

White Sentiment Strip: 1 13/16" x 1" 

 

Steps to Create:

• Die Cut 2 Black Perfect Touch Rectangles (S5-647) measuring: 3 3/4" x 5". Die cut handle on both panels using Essential Stylish Ovals (S5-562) measuring:  2" x 3/4" approximately 5/8" from the top of the rectangle.
• Cut Black Paper Sack down to measure: 3 1/2" high. You will attach the 2 Black Perfect Touch Rectangles to the front and back.
• Cut Black Panel measuring: 3 5/8" x 3 1/2" and embossing using Damask 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-159). Cut Black Brush Strip measuring: 3 5/8" x 1/8". Glue to Black Perfect Touch Rectangle front panel. You are now ready to decorate.
• Die Cut elements using Day #3 and Day #2. The bats are from Halloween Wreath Add-Ons (S5-601).
• Stamp "Have A Treat-Filled Night" sentiment using the stamp set included in the box with Black ink on White card stock. Cut into a strip measuring: 1 13/16" x 1".
• Assemble.
• For Embellishment add Black Clothes Pin and Black & White Bow.   

Here's a side close up to show how the bag is attached to the front & back panels.

Now for those that would like a little inspiration, here goes. Day #2 Envelope includes an adorable Crow & Skull Die and it's super easy to assemble. 

 

I created my second treat bag in my series using a fun black & white polka dot sack. 

 

Bag Measurements: 

Sack: 3 1/2" x 2" x 7" (top folded down at 5 1/2")

Black Band: 1 5/8" x 11", folded at 5 1/2" 

Black & White Stripe Pattern Paper Strip: 1 1/2" x 5 5/8"

Tag: 2 1/4" x 3 5/8" (Black), 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" (Royal Amethyst), 2 1/4" x 3 7/8" (Purple Mist)

Crow/Skull: 3 1/8" x 2 1/8" 

Black Sentiment Strip: 1 3/8" x 1/4" 

 

Steps to Create: 

• Create Tag by Die Cutting 1 Black, 1 Royal Amethyst and 1 Purple Mist using Create A Decorative Tag (S3-4333) measuring: 2 1/4" x 4 1/2". Die Cut bottoms of tags using Torn Paper Edges (S2-444). Take Purple Mist tag and ink blend with Lovely Lavender & Wild Lilac ink. Add Black splatters with Raven Splatter Effects.
• Stamp "Stay Spooky" sentiment using stamp set included in the box with Embossing ink on Black card stock and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder. Trim into strip measuring: 1 3/8" x 1/4" .
• Die Cut Crow with Brushed Black, Graphite, Tuscan card stock. Assemble.
• Die Cut Skull with Antique Glitter Metallic & Black card stock. Assemble.
• Assemble Tag. Embellish with Black Gauze (Tim Holtz/Retired) and Berry Color Essential Gems (SCS-335). 
• For Treat Bag (I found these at JoAnn's a few years back). Fold the top down approximately at 5 1/2" to create a 1 1/2" flap. Cut strip measuring: 1 5/8" x 11", folded at 5 1/2". Cut Black & White Stripe Pattern Paper Strip: 1 1/2" x 5 5/8". Tie ribbon around with a bow at the top. Attach Tag to strip.

For my projects for the next 13 day I will be creating fun tags for treat bags that I will be handing out for Halloween. 

 

Treat Bag: 3 1/2" x 2" x 6 1/4" (Paper Sack, Celebrate It brand from Michaels)

Black Arch Tag: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"

Black & White Striped Pattern Paper Strip on Black Arch Tag: 2 1/4" x 5/16"

White Arch Tag: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"

Moon: 1 1/2"

Dracula: 3" x 2 1/16"

Steps to Create:

• Create Tag Base by Die Cutting 1 Black and 1 White Arch using Essential Arches (S5-526) measuring: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2". Cut Black & White Strip Pattern Paper Strip measuring: 2 1/4" x 5/16" and attach to bottom of Black Arch. Punch Hole at top to create tag.
• Stamp "Have A FANG-TASTIC Night" sentiment using stamp set included in the box with Black ink on the bottom right of the White Arch.
• Die Cut White Circle measuring: 1 1/2" using Everlasting Circles (S4-1280) to create Moon. Add light ink blending with Purple ink.
• Die Cut Dracula with White, Black, Fog (retired), Poppy Field (retired) and Royal Amethyst (retired) card stock. Assemble.
• Die Cut 3 Bats using Halloween Wreath Add-On (S5-601) with Black card stock. 
• Assemble Tag. Embellish with Black gems. 
• For Treat Bag (I found these at Michaels a few years back). Fold the top down approximately at 5" to create a 1 5/8" flap. Tie ribbon around with a bow at the top. 
• Tie Tag to bow with Black & White Twine.

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Die Cut Black Panel measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" using Precision Layering A2 B (S5-494). 
• Cut Purple Mist A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink Blend panel using Lovely Lavender, Wild Lilac and Black Onyx ink around the edges. Glimmer Hot Foil panel using Spider Web Background (BP-080) with Opaque Black Foil (GLF-049). Trim panel to measure: 3 3/4" x 5" using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487). Touch up ink blending. Add Black splatters using Raven Splatter Effects (SCSI-003) and set panel aside to dry. 
• Die Cut White & Black Essential Arches (S5-526) measuring: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2", die cut the bottom of the arches using Torn Paper Edges (S2-444). The final White/Black Arch will measure: White 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" and Black 2 1/4" x 1/4".
• Die cut Pupkin (S3-540) using White, Black, Persimmon, Rainforest, Latte, and Portobello card stock. Add ink blending (optional).
• Glimmer Hot Foil " You're Wicked Cute" sentiment using Halloween Icons (BP-079) with Opaque White Foil (GLF-049) on Black card stock. 
• Assemble card.
• Embellish with Black Cord and Glaze 'N Glue (Pup's Nose).

Blue Denim Embossed/Ink Blended Panel: 4" x 5 1/4"

Boat: 3 1/8" x 2 1/16"

Poppy Field Sentiment Banner: 2 11/16" x 1/4"

R24, R27, R29

N2, N3 

 

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut Blue Denim Panel measuring: 4" x 5 1/4". Ink Blend around the edges with Blue Denim and Black Onyx ink. Emboss panel using Underwater Waltz 3D Embossing Folder of the Month (3EOM-AUG25). Add White Paint Splatters and set panel aside to dry.
• Stamp Boat using Paper Splash Clear Stamp & Die of the Month (CDOM-AUG25) with Black ink on White card stock. Color boat with Copic Markers.
• Stamp "Sending Joy On Paper Sails" sentiment using  Paper Splash Clear Stamp & Die of the Month (CDOM-AUG25) with Black ink on Poppy Field card stock. Die Cut out with coordinating banner die.
• Assemble card.
• Embellish with White AB Glass Bubble Mix and Glaze 'N Glue (Banner & Mast).
