For a number of years I have regularly provided support via kitchen work (serving and cleaning after dinner), as well as design and styling assistance (helping style and set up the events, designing printed materials and slide shows).

    Volunteer on Christmas day 2009, 2010 and 2012 at the Christmas lunch held at WPBS. The free lunch is held annually with the purpose of providing a welcoming and happy place for those who don't have anywhere else to go on Christmas day.

    My role has involved assisting with set up and pack down, serving food and drink to guests, as well as hosting a table (ensuring everybody has what they need, is enjoying themselves etc.).

    Involved in leading the school's participation in the World Vision 40-hour famine. This included attending a weekend conference, multiple presentations at school assembly, planning and executing our school fund-raiser evening and maintaining contact with World Vision throughout the process. I received a 'Service to the School' award for this role.
