I recently completed my civil engineering internship in Thessaloniki, Greece at International Hellenic University! During my internship in the Department of Industrial Engineering, I had the chance to work on multidisciplinary projects with interns from mechanical and computer engineering. Although most of my projects focused on 3D CAD modeling, I also gained experience in drone data collection, photogrammetry, and interpreting construction drawings written in Greek. These experiences enhanced my skills in engineering design, technical documentation, and application of emerging technologies to real-world problems. In addition to the technical work, I enjoyed working alongside local students at IHC and interns of various engineering disciplines. As this was my first time traveling outside of the United States, living and working in Greece for the past few weeks has given me the opportunity to experience a new culture, interact with students and interns from different backgrounds, and gain a broader perspective of engineering education and practices around the world. Thank you to the faculty, mentors, and fellow interns at International Hellenic University for their support and guidance throughout this journey, as well as Intern Abroad HQ and Cerca Abroad for making this experience possible.

I’m pleased to share that I have successfully completed my Software Engineering internship in Tokyo, Japan! 🇯🇵 A few months ago, I boarded a plane to Tokyo, not quite knowing what to expect. Since then, I've had the opportunity to experience life and work in a completely different country, meet incredible people and create memories that I'll carry with me long after returning home. One of the highlights of this experience has been working with the SmileHome Inc. team. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly, encouraging me throughout my internship and patiently answering my many, many questions along the way. I am incredibly grateful for the support, guidance and kindness you showed me from day one.
