#MasterclassopenEHR goes live at the ICT&health World Conference.
Gain more insight into the added value of a vendor neutral open data platform and visit our inspiring session on Thursday May 16th in Maastricht.
How do we improve hashtag
#DataAvailability?
What is a vendor neutral open data platform and what are your benefits?
What is the transformative value of hashtag
#openEHR and
#lowcode?
You will find the answers to these (and many more) questions in our live Masterclass openEHR:
Sebastian Iancu (CODE24),
Erik Vermeulen (EY),
Bouwe Koopal (Maarsingh & van Steijn),
Stefan Schraps (vitagroup) and
Hans Canisius (USoft)
will share their vision with you from 5 different perspectives, followed by a lively discussion with all speakers and with you.
Data availability, separating data from applications, CDR's, lifetime data, FIHR, openEHR, lowcode, hashtag
#EHDS, archetypes, federation, vendor neutrality, regional collaboration and (inter)national success stories will be reviewed.

In the current situation, healthcare organizations have a high dependence on system suppliers. This limits renewal and innovation. Cooperation between different healthcare organizations is also less efficient. Patients themselves have limited control over their own data. As a result, healthcare organizations are, as it were, still hostage to data and outdated EHRs. They often still have their own EHR that is specifically adapted to the organization and often intertwined with the system that supports the healthcare processes. With the Dutch Integraal Zorg Akkoord, which was drawn up last September in mind, these different care packages are now still being linked together. In practice, however, this is proving difficult, costly and not sufficiently scalable for what the sector needs to be future-proof.
openEHR (open Electronic Health Record ) is an internationally embraced standard for building healthcare IT systems. This technical specification describes a way of storing, retrieving, and exchanging medical data without depending on healthcare system vendors, and can support multiple exchange standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR).
