From an award at a recent conference to a new feature released for its AiosynQC solution, read on for all the good news coming from Aiosyn. 👇 At the recent World Congress of Nephrology 2025 in New Delhi, the partnership of Physiogenex, NIPOKA GmbH and Aiosyn was awarded the most viewed e-poster during the entire congress. 🏆 Aiosyn's NephroPath AI analysis contributed to Physiogenex’s study and NephroPath's quantitative image analysis was featured in this poster. The award shows the strong interest at the Congress on this topic. "We are proud to see the high interest among the #WCN25 audience in how #AI-powered image analysis can support the discovery of new treatments for kidney diseases," says the Aiosyn team. And Aiosyn's new feature release? 🔬AiosynQC now detects white balance issues in digital histology slides. This update helps laboratory technicians to identify these problems more efficiently. What's next for drone technology in the public safety and security fields? 💭 Our portfolio company, AirHub, has some thoughts on that subject. 👇 Today, 9️⃣0️⃣% of drone operations are conducted with visual line of sight (VLOS) with multirotors. These drones are best for: ⦁ Close-range, on-site operations ⦁ Maneuvering in tight spaces ⦁ Capturing detailed data at close range For example, multirotors can provide a quick aerial perspective for police or fire departments responding to an incident. 🔥🚨 But drone technology, regulations and operational models are advancing, paving the way for increasingly complex and integrated missions. "The future will likely see a blend of multirotors, fixed-wing and vertical take-off and landing drones conducting beyond visual line of sight missions," says the Airhub team. "This evolution will enable large-scale, multi-drone operations that offer unprecedented coverage, efficiency, and adaptability." The benefits of the other drone technologies? HiX is ChipSoft Nederland's newest version of its electronic health record (EHR/EMR) solution. With applications such as predictive algorithms, medical summaries via Large Language Models and classification algorithms for risk groups, AI within HiX leads to more targeted and effective care provision. "AI in ChipSoft is of great added value for healthcare," says CCO of Autoscriber, Jacco Schutte.
