The new Linksight architecture is live! This key update enhances our data collaboration governance, bringing improvements in security, control, and flexibility. This post's focus: the significant simplification of IT management. With the new Linksight platform architecture, your IT administrator only needs to act once: during the installation of the Linksight Datastation within your organization's infrastructure—whether on-premises or in the cloud. Once the Linksight Datastation is up and running, users can handle everything on their own. Installing a new version of the Linksight software is now as simple as updating an app on your phone. Another improvement is the enhanced visibility of the operational status of data collaborations. If the connection with a partner in your collaboration becomes unavailable, you will see this immediately. No more time wasted searching—you can quickly notify the right contact person in the other organization. Providing data on your Linksight Datastation has also become easier. The user interface allows you to complete this in just two simple steps: select the correct data file and add data descriptions. User management has also been improved in the new architecture. By using your organization's existing Single Sign-On (SSO), you can instantly assign roles and grant access to people. The new Linksight architecture is now fully operational. De NZa benadrukt het belang van toegankelijke informatie voor burgers over de kwaliteit van behandelingen bij verschillende zorgaanbieders. Linksight kan deze informatie analyseren, waarbij we de privacy van de onderliggende dossiers waarborgen. Zo realiseren we de transparantie en vergelijkbaarheid die patiënten nodig hebben. Uit het NZa-onderzoek blijkt dat meer dan 60% van de zorgaanbieders slechts algemene informatie verstrekt over behandelingsuitkomsten, maar geen specifieke behandelresultaten deelt. Dit maakt het voor patiënten moeilijk om zorgaanbieders op basis van resultaten te vergelijken. "Patiënten hebben recht op volledige transparantie zodat ze hun zorgreis goed kunnen plannen," aldus de NZa. Linksight stelt zorgaanbieders in staat om de kwaliteit en effectiviteit van behandelingen onderling te analyseren zonder gevoelige medische gegevens te delen. Door gebruik te maken van privacy-enhancing technologies, zoals Secure Multiparty Computation (MPC) en homomorfe encryptie, leveren we de transparantie en vergelijkbaarheid die patiënten nodig hebben, waarbij breder wordt gekeken dan alleen één specifieke instelling. Afhankelijk van de gekozen behandeling kan immers een andere vorm van vervolgzorg nodig zijn. Het in kaart brengen van de effectiviteit van een zorgpad is ook niet nieuw. Al in 2022 heeft het Zuyderland ziekenhuis een vergelijkbaar traject uitgevoerd om de effectiviteit van innovaties te onderbouwen. De gegevens van ruim 4.000 patiënten zijn geanalyseerd volgens een privacy-by-design aanpak, in samenwerking met CZ en het CBS. Linksight's new architecture is here! We’ve improved data collaboration governance—enhancing security, control, and flexibility while ensuring data always stays at the source. Learn more about this update and how you can manage your data collaborations with confidence. What's New? In this series, we’ll guide you through the impact of the new Linksight architecture. Today, let's start with the big picture. With the new Linksight Governance Hub, each partner in a data collaboration can set governance agreements, rules, and limitations for all analyses. This provides even greater control over compliance and collaboration. What Hasn't Changed? Organizations install a Linksight Data Station within their own environment— this can be on-premise or at their cloud provider. With just a few clicks, your Linksight Data Station is up and running, allowing you to contribute to a data collaboration. As always, data remains at the source, where all encrypted computations take place. Data scientists can access insights using our interface or by utilizing R or Python to query the collaboration for valuable findings.
